  1. I completely agree about Fox "News" undermining it's credibility. I almost didn't watch it.

  2. LOL...Something more "mainstream" than the Grateful Dead...perhaps Barry Manilow or InSync would work instead.

  3. It's impossible to job-hunt when employed, since one is busy with that job, with no time for the multiple interviews it seems to take to get a job in the first place. Which means that those of us who are lucky enough to be employed are also stuck with said job, even if we're desperately unhappy and needing to move on to something better, or at least something else. What irony, indeed.... :(

    1. Ironic? No. BS? Yes. The best time to get a job is while you're working. Interview early in the morning, or late in the afternoon. Make the time.

Sounds like you're making excuses. As you may know, excuses only satisfy the one that makes them. Get energized & get going on a new job!!

  4. I know this is an old interview but as a recruiter of 16 years in the business, I was with Marc until he got to the last statement. Absurd advice. If the interviewer asks "tell me about yourself" you need to narrow it down. Ask the interviewer something like "would you like to know about my recent interests?" If there is something they want to know they will often pinpoint it then. Some interviewers are inept and ask this because they think it's expected. Or it's on an HR questionnaire. As for the Fox News bashers, what would've been more credible, MSNBC? Caution, your hiring manager may be conservative.
