Why would you spend 8x more time looking for a new car or a new flat panel display for your house as opposed to preparing for a job interview? We are strange creatures:). As an older skilled work you know what it takes. But the question is how.
* Be ready with the best answers to job interview questions.
* Increase your confidence; easily calm nerves or fear.
* Position yourself as the BEST candidate for the job.
SO, I am to assume that the BLOGGER is going to accept negative comments about his blog subject... Doesn't seem like I should really be waiting very long to see my stuff published on the blog.. but it was from the heart and 30 years in recruiting...

I agree that research on the company is important. But rehearsing interviewing questions is like any activity that you become competent at. Part proactive training and part experiencing the actual event. The more interviews the better you can get. But you still have to know what a good interview is . This is the difficult question sometimes.
