Excellent checklist! I participated in a 30-minute telephone seminar on this topic but did not come away with a list that applied very well to my own skills. I can use these suggestions to re-frame my resume in terms of how my skills as an editor can be applied more generally as a critical thinker in an organization. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSince most jobs do not require you to be a rocket scientist I would say I do understand it. If you are way above average at Windows programs and have customer service experience, you can do 90% of the jobs. Here you go telling us it is a skills mismatch.
